Responsibilities

Criterion Systems is seeking a mission-focused DevOps Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in San Diego, CA. The individual in this position must be a motivated team player that strives for professional and technical excellence in DevOps Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Will work on a multi-disciplinary team and provide hands-on technical support to integrate and containerize software tools capable of mission data processing into a DevOps pipeline.
• Looking for a software engineer who enjoys DevOps and working in the Cloud.
• Experience developing microservices for a cloud-based environment.
• Strong experience using DevOps tools and processes.
• Proficient using DevSecOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher, Openshift, or equivalent), Jenkins, Ansible
• Experience with AWS. Including cloud-based infrastructure and administration.
• Experience writing scripts
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
• Proactive attitude and the desire to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
• Strong communication and written skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and 4 years of related experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 25% Travel
• Requires US citizenship status.
• Salary is $120,000.00 to $155,000.00 with a generous benefits package (salary is based on experience and skills)
