Responsibilities

The Corporate Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, coordinating, and executing the marketing communication plans for the organization. This position will also work closely with the sales team to develop content, collateral, and marketing tools to support selling the company’s services.

• Support the Human Resources team 50% of the time, developing materials, tools, and tactics including, but not limited to, website design, literature and brochures, logos and graphics, promotions, email newsletters, social media, direct mail, press releases, videos, employee outreach campaigns, advertisements, and directory listings
• Work with the VP of Sales and the Marketing Manager to develop, manage, and implement the sales marketing and communications plans, strategies, and expense budget
• Support sales and HR leadership, and operating company business units, with various administrative tasks which may include development of presentations, videos, ordering promotional items, templates for proposals and customer notifications
• Support the Cretex operating companies with development and coordination of written and visual marketing content
• Manage, maintain, and update company website(s) using the Content Management System (CMS)
• Manage, maintain, and regularly update company presence on relevant social media pages and platforms
• Coordinate activities and events to promote brand/company awareness and ensure accurate, consistent, and proper image and brand presentation
• Coordinate details and logistics for trade shows, special events, meetings, and webinars/seminars
• Manage relationships with consultants, vendors, and material/service providers as related to execution of marketing communications strategies and tactics
• Interface with and service customers on lead follow-up/tracking, customer satisfaction surveys, and general requests for information about the company
• Maintain customer contact information and the effectiveness of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, provide training on CRM system, and execute reporting specific to sales and marketing
• Research competitor information and best practices
• Stay abreast of medical device industry trends to formulate ideas for newsletters, speaking engagements, and customer presentations
• Assist with industry groups’ activities and events, as well as network with other marketing and/or medical groups
• Maintain appropriate inventory of promotional items and the security, organization, and cleanliness of the marketing storage area
• Develop and coordinate internal and external signage and display cases at company facilities relative to appropriate logo(s), branding, messaging, and marketing/visual touch points

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, technical writing, or equivalent job experience
• Moderate experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Proficiency with website platforms (WordPress), social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), and marketing communications software (HubSpot, Constant Contact, MailChimp)
• Communication, marketing, and writing skills
• Event planning and coordination skills
