Summary of position

Through following prequalification procedures, you will help funnel qualified sales leads to the Account Managers and Distributors globally

Responsibilities

  • Pre-qualification of commercial, government and not-for-profit inbound lead enquiries for Cresset Software, Discovery Services and Torx
  • Ownership of lead data in the CRM with a focus on ensuring data quality, completeness of records and accurately moving leads through the sales pipeline 
  • Contribute to the sales growth of Cresset by keeping the sales funnel topped up and developing any leads assigned to you
  • Contributing to ideas for lead nurturing campaigns and ownership for nurturing in your region
  • Attendance at conferences and other applicable events
  • Assist with co-ordination and closure of annual software renewals for Cresset and Torx
  • Ensure feedback on competitive intelligence gained from third parties

Requirements

  • Scientific degree or higher degree – chemistry or life sciences preferred
  • Strong interest in working in a commercial/sales environment
  • Excellent scientific communicator with an interest in developing relationship building skills
  • Excellent written, oral and listening skills

Desirable

  • Experience with Cresset software
  • Experience using and administering Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Location

US ideally within commutable distance to Boston

Employment

Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

  • 25 Days paid annual leave (ten days may be carried over from year to year unless state regulations require otherwise)
