Maintenance Assistant

Crescent Manor is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant.

• Monday - Friday schedule – every other weekend on-call.

The Maintenance Assistant plays a key role in the delivery of an exceptional experience to residents in our community. This person will serve in a supportive role for the Maintenance Department reporting to the Director of Environmental Services.

Overview

The Director of Environmental Services will outline the goals and objectives for the week and day. These may include:

• Attending to regular maintenance duties inside the building and/or pertaining to common areas.
• Attending to outside grounds maintenance.
• Assisting with floor care.
• Painting of common spaces and rooms, as needed.
• Driving residents in facility vehicle to appointments

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time and ready to work.

• Maintain professionalism while on the job and throughout interactions with staff and residents.

• Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude.

• Ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Meet cleaning expectations for resident rooms and common areas.

• Effective and appropriate communication between co-workers, management, and residents.

• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.

Requirements:

• Reliable

• Experience with maintenance would be a plus

.Valid VT Drivers License

• Willing to learn

• Caring, kind and positive attitude

• Professionalism

• Can work on own, as well as part of a team

• Be able to pass a background check

• Be at least 18 years of age with reliable transportation
