Position Summary This position will primarily be responsible for providing data insights by analyzing and reporting on the impact of marketing strategies and tests, making recommendations for improvements, and presenting findings to upper management. This role will also leverage the bank’s prospect database, combining prior interaction data with third party demographic and credit data to reveal additional insights and develop selection and segmentation strategies. Summary of Essential Job Functions •Responsible for providing data insights and recommendations on marketing strategies and tests by conducting ad hoc analysis on bank databases using SAS, R, Python, and SQL •Drive incremental growth through the development of new and optimized strategies for selection, segmentation, and presentation of offers •Leverage in-house and external data sources in a prospect database to develop robust reporting and analysis •Present findings to upper management and making recommendations for improvements •Evaluate, analyze, and report the impact and performance of acquisition strategies •Perform periodic audits on team reporting Position Requirements •Bachelor’s degree in a related field •2 years analytics experience •Proficiency in SAS, R, Python or SQL is required •Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to read, interpret, and evaluate, financial time-series tracking reports is preferred •Excellent verbal and written communications skills required (advanced skills and data mining experience both a plus) •Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Preferred •Advanced degree •Experience in the financial services industry is preferred. •Consumer Credit Card industry experience
