creditonebank is Hiring a Director of Paid Media Near Las Vegas, NV

The Director of Paid Media within the Marketing team will focus on driving brand media campaigns for the growing Credit One Bank brand. Working closely with the Vice President, Brand & Advertising, this position will assist in the development and execution of strategic media-driven programs across off-line and on-line channels. The candidate must place a strong emphasis on teamwork, integration, and developing strategic points of view based on marketing analytics. The role will be both a key point of contact for agency partners as well as serving as a media planner/buyer on additional programs. Strategic mindset is a required essential skill set. Summary of Essential Job Functions · Lead team which serves as key point of contact on day-to-day planning and buying campaigns with partner agencies · Build relationships with other marketing disciplines and analytics teams to understand the impact brand advertising has on lower-funnel campaigns · Integrate into the Brand team to develop key processes and standards for creating consistent workflow expectations · Actively participate in planning of integrated campaigns that are channel agnostic and most compelling to the message; bring unique media recommendations to support the programs · Influence research and surveys to better understand media impact and improve analytics · Establish role as the point of contact for inquiring media and sponsorship proposals and manage appropriately · Study the advertising industry and keep abreast of emerging trends both inside and outside the credit card category · Contribute to the annual planning process for the advertising budget and resulting campaigns; must look at the brand holistically to identify efficiencies and opportunities · Participate in SEO and website development planning from the brand advertising lens · Manage direct reports · Elevate the Brand team as a company-wide resource for championing innovative and thoughtful work that moves the needle Position Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field · Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred · 5 years of consulting or client-side media experience for a mid to large-sized national brand · Media planning and buying experience, both off-line and on-line channels · Excellent presentation, communication, writing, organization, and management skills · Team player, with a leadership mentality that inspires great work across disciplines, and inherently, consumers · Ability to manage up and across the organization relevant and actionable information · Adept at translating research and analytics into meaningful and actionable ideas · Must understand consumer behavior, trends and channels · Financial services/credit card experience preferred
