The Core Native team builds the features that drive the primary uses of Credit Karma, including the main dashboard, credit reports, accounts, identity monitoring, and more. Our task is to both inform and help users make financial progress through understanding and improving their credit and debt situations. We are a small team of client developers who often extend into building out our own GraphQL APIs to support client needs. We also get great opportunities to work with our cross functional partners in design and product to help make a meaningful impact on the features we build.

What you'll do:

• You will work with the latest native frameworks, design patterns, and technologies
• You will help guide the features and direction of the app with your own ideas
• You will collaborate with Web, and Backend engineering teams
• You will ensure high quality, performance, and responsiveness of the application
• You will implement metrics and dashboards to empower data-driven decisions
• You will work with Product, Analytics, Design, Security, Data, Machine Learning, and other teams

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years industry work experience as a native Software Engineer, preferably iOS.

What we would like to see:

• Familiarity with popular native design patterns
• Familiarity with functional and stateless programming
• Comfortable with data analytics, testing tools, and A/B testing methodology
• Experience with the full software development life cycle and continuous integration
• Customer-focused and data-driven

That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $112,417 to $185,987 plus equity and benefits.
