Credence Management Solutions is Hiring a Technical Project Manager Near Washington, DC

Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to provide IT project management and professional support to the DoJ Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) system owners and other operations and maintenance (O&M) staff to ensure compliance with DOJ security requirements and standards. This position will be working with a team supporting the Department’s ongoing requirement for information security and accreditation for a wide range of IT General Support Systems and Major Applications within the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical Project Management oversight supporting DOJ Components with project guidance and oversight, to include the following activities:
    • Prepares, develops, and coordinates an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
    • Utilizes Gant, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
    • Serve as Point of Contact (POC) for external contractors/vendors
    • Perform project risk analyses based on critical path conflicts
    • Develop schedules that are traceable to the Statement of Work
    • Create financial summary charts in support of program management and program reviews
    • Provide weekly status and reporting of tracked programs

Qualifications

  • Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or signficant equivalent experience is required. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 10 years of expertise in managing complex projects and programs
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in IT Project Management
  • Experience managing diverse project teams to carry out and complete large-scale IT projects
  • Experience with understanding contract deliverables and providing quality, on-time deliverables
  • Must have experience in developing and presenting status briefs to high level government and contractor management
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to create high-value deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and consultation skills
  • Work within a matrix organization to support priority initiatives even those outside primary area of responsibility
  • Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
  • Must be able to function resourcefully and independently and work with a diverse team of IA/cybersecurity practitioners
  • Experience working within DOJ Offices, Boards, and Divisions (OBDs), with an understanding of unique organizational security policies and security controls implementations within specific IT environments is desired.
  • PMP desired
