Credence Management Solutions, LLC is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Tysons Corner, VA

Overview

Credence seeks a mid-level professional who is a self-starter looking for a great start to their career. The right candidate while be high energy with a drive towards long term career direction.

Hybrid currently, with 2-3 days in the Tysons Corner, VA office.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing monthly project billings for Government customers
  • Review Accounts Payable Vouchers to ensure accurate processing of all purchase orders and subcontractor invoices
  • Review and Process employee expense reports in accordance with GSA travel regulations and company policy
  • Lead company credit card reconciliation for about 80 Credit card holders
  • Process weekly ACH payments and print checks to vendors/Employees
  • Responsible for preparing monthly project billings for Government customers
  • Ensures timely cash collection of billed Accounts Receivables
  • Assist in monthly journal entries and month end closing
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist with other projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • United States citizenship required for consideration due to sensitive related costumer information
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in AP or Government contract billings
  • Knowledge of Government contract types (FFP/T&M/CPFF)
  • Ideal candidate would have experience using Deltek Cost point
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Exhibit excellent and proactive customer service
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
