Credence Management Solutions is Hiring a Senior Security Analyst Near Kearneysville, WV

Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to provide support services to the classified office and data center spaces for the USCG Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC). The Security Analyst will be responsible for the day to day security plans, process and procedures with respect to classified materials handling, classified networks, continuity of operations workspaces, and classified data floor. Additionally, this position will be responsible for ensuring the day to day security operations are aligned to meet the DHS and Coast Guard’s goals and will provide subject matter expertise on security issues to include SIPRNET, classified materials handling, and classified data floor. The Security Analyst shall be aware of and ensure that the C5ISC adheres to all DoD regulations with regards to Information Assurance/Certification and Accreditation of classified USCG information systems and data (i.e. DoDI 8510.01, DIACAP).

Responsibilities

  • SIPRnet Space Management
    • Train SIPRnet users on opening/closing procedures of the Classified Work Space and Data Floor to include operation of the combination lock and IDS
    • Provide escort services to SIPRnet users
    • Perform combination and IDS password changes when necessary
    • Perform daily security checks of Classified spaces
  • SIPRnet Account Administration
    • Create new SIPRnet user accounts
    • Troubleshoot and remediate SIPRnet account issues to include account unlocks and PIN resets
    • Maintain, audit and validate SIPRnet account log
  • Vulnerability Management
    • Conduct and assess ACAS vulnerability scans on SIPRnet assets
    • Work with outside stakeholders to ensure remediation of asset vulnerabilities
    • Perform TCTO implementations and report on compliance of said TCTO to upper management
    • Participate in weekly Information Assurance IAVM meetings
  • Configuration Management
    • Create and maintain IP network documentation
    • Create and maintain SIPRnet documentation
    • Create Requests for Modifications for all changes to the SIPRnet environment
    • Facilitate the adding/removal of physical assets to/from the Classified Data Floor
  • Active Directory/Email/File Server Management
    • Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory
    • Establish and maintain file share security groups
    • Train SIPRnet users on the use of email and classification functions
    • Set up and manage file server disk space utilization
  • SIPRnet Network Administration
    • Layer 2 network administration
    • Ensure STIG compliance on layer 2 switches
    • Provide remote hands support to outside stakeholders to perform troubleshooting, restarting and general administration on network devices
    • Administer and maintain circuit encryption equipment
    • Perform SIPRnet workstation builds and rebuilds when necessary

Qualifications

Specific:

  • Secret security clearance is required. Most be eligible for top secret security clearance
  • AS or BS in IT or Cyber Security related field preferred, but years of experience and/or industry certifications may be used in place of degree
  • Requires a Security Certification within six months of employment
  • Five (5) years of experience in an IT and or IT Security related field
  • Knowledge of Classified Data Floor and Facilities operations and support
  • Experience in the following classified systems support areas:
    • Data Center Security Officer (DCSO)
    • Secret Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRNET)
    • Classified Material System (CMS)
  • Familiarization of TEMPEST measurement standards
  • Experience with administration and maintenance of Windows workstation operating systems
  • Familiar with DISA/NIST Risk Management Framework such as C-TAF, Xacta, VMS, ACAS, Nessus, etc.
  • Familiar with security practices associated with working in a classified environment (operation of X-09 and X-10 locks, SF-700, SF-701, SF-702
  • Experience performing system administration and configuration on Cisco Networks, desired
  • Knowledge and/or experience configuring and administering encryption devices, specifically TACLAN and KIV devices desired

  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to create high-value deliverables
  • Strong customer service and consultation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain flexible work hours (work hours are consistent but occasional ad hoc requirements may necessitate flexible hours)
  • Work within a matrix organization to support priority initiatives even those outside primary area of responsibility
  • Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Visio, etc)
  • Ability to travel periodically
  • Work as part of an integrated team with team members that are both locally and remotely located
