The CSCC Program Planner is responsible for assisting in providing management, leadership and direction for the center. Primary responsibilities include: assisting teachers in creating lesson plans, ensuring proper supplies are requested, ensuring all activities are age appropriate and fit educational standards, and assist the front office with any needed tasks. Other duties will include managing the opening/closing of the center and ensuring that all classrooms are meeting the correct staff:child ratio. A passion for the mission of the organization is a key for success.
Job Hours: Monday through Friday, Hours vary between 7:00-3:30 and 10:30-6:30. No nights or weekends.
Hourly Wage is Negotiable
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reinforce and lead an environment focused on empowerment and continuous improvement. Lead the center with honesty and mutual respect for all employees and families enrolled in the center. Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and personal responsibility to staff, children, and parents.
Assist in overseeing the daily classroom activities and schedules throughout the building. Encourage staff members to create an effective and creative learning environment while providing high quality care and education for the children.
Having regular attendance as scheduled and being flexible with working hours as designated by the Director of the center.
Assist in managing the opening/closing routines of the center as scheduled by the Director.
Ensuring all proper opening/closing jobs and duties are completed by staff members and yourself.
Provide a weekly supply list for the building as well as the individual classrooms to the Director no later than Wednesday of each week.
Assist in the classrooms as scheduled to allow time for the Lead Teachers to prep and create lesson plans.
Assist in creating lesson plans as needed, and approving already creating plans to ensure that all standards are met.
Assist the classroom teachers with any behavioral instances that would arise with the children.
Ensure consistent application of all CSCC policies and procedures.
Report any conditions that create an unsafe situation for staff or children.
Job Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age;
• May not have on record a substantiated report of child abuse or neglect;
• And must meet one of the following requirements:
• This individual plans all activities and oversees all staff to make sure they implement this in their own classrooms.
