Job Summary:

The Data Entry Clerk will enter, verify, and prepare data and materials required to produce jobs in the manufacturing process at Creative Plastics according to company needs and customer requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Enters, verifies, and manages job and shipping related data and information.
• Coordinates material requirements with production planning, purchasing, shipping, and receiving, and materials storage.
• Communicates with production planning and scheduling based on customer established deadlines.
• Reviews inventory levels and material delivers to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines.
• Works on the plant floor with other departments to verify delivery of materials, products, and outside purchases in accordance with delivery requirements.
• Follows up with shipping and receiving related to critical purchased materials.
• Manages and monitors storage of purchased materials and finished goods.
• Reports damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Experienced in databases systems such as ERP.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
• Proficient with inventory reporting systems.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in materials control field required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Frequent walking and standing for prolonged periods of time on plant floor
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 35 pounds
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects
