If you are interested in joining Creative Business Solutions, Inc. please visit http://cbsxcels.com/index.cfm/careers/ Our client is hiring a Systems Administrator to join their team in Fort Gordon, GA Responsibilities: • Provide Customer PC configuration support and/or end-user support for system problems and Web development and design including installation and maintenance of the hardware and software. • Provide moderate to highly complex support in the area of Web design/development and maintenance support. • Support an Intranet LAN function utilizing the current Microsoft Server Suite (i.e. MS Server, SQL Server, Internet Server). • Maintain Computerized Basic Electronics Training (CBET) Servers and Training Local Area Network (TLAN). • Receive, log, and investigate Customer Service Call (CSC) requests. Follow up on all CSC reports to ensure responses were handled appropriately. • Perform emergency virus rescue operations by isolating problems, tracking the infection, and removing the virus. • Instruct users on the proper use of software systems. • Provide instruction and guidance for the users on revised interface techniques. • Interact with Network Enterprise Center (NEC) personnel to manage assigned user accounts and to obtain, change, or delete user passwords. • Coordinate and document computer maintenance. This includes preventive and remedial maintenance. • Maintain records of hardware failures and ensure that maintenance is performed. • Provide technical support to users for computer software and hardware. • Install new software and hardware, versions, and updates; adapt, configure, and test computer software, hardware, and/or user systems for effective integration of software systems. • Coordinate and document software maintenance and upgrades. • Maintain records of software failures and ensures that routine user file maintenance is performed. Certification: • IAT II/IAM I baseline commercial certification. • Microsoft Systems Administrator certification (any of the Microsoft Systems Administrator certifications). • Baseline certification: must already possess (and be maintaining) current Security CompTIA commercial certification (or higher, such as CISSP,). Requirements: • A minimum of three (3) years of experience administrating servers and systems, worked directly in the career field during three (3) of the preceding five (5) years. • Bachelor's Degree Security Clearance: • U.S. Citizenship required. • Active Secret Clearance required. The hiring range for this position is $80k to $ $85k per year. For positions in California, this range will be specific to the location in California. The actual range may vary based on the geographic location of the chosen candidate. For all positions, the base pay offered will take into account various factors, including internal equity and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Creative Business Solutions, base pay is one part of your total compensation package.
