Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic artist to join our company as a Graphic Designer. As an arm of our creative team, you create visual content and assets for use across a wide variety of media, including social media, mobile platforms, and emerging media. You will work with a larger team of creative professionals, supporting company goals and media initiatives, meaning that a collaborative mindset is an absolute must. Our ideal candidate is an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, most notably – and also possesses a strong marketing strategy mindset to assist the whole creative team.

This person is someone with a passion for helping businesses grow by expanding their marketing efforts. The ideal candidate must have strong internal motivation and be confident when taking initiative. Graphic Designer Responsibilities

  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
  •  Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Follow creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
  • Other relevant tasks as assigned

Experience Expectations

  •  Previous experience working in an agency atmosphere and the ability to handle multiple projects in differing client industries, is essential
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Marketing/Communications (or a related field) is preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience in designing graphic marketing campaigns, is essential
  • Knowledge of marketing trends in our core areas of service is paramount: real estate, heavy equipment, healthcare, legal/financial, & manufacturing
  • Ability and confidence in communicating and articulating marketing concepts
  • Possess excellent judgment & deep understanding of sales & marketing principles and practices
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, but knows when to ask for help when needed
