Pay Range: $20 - $28

We are currently accepting resumes for a Vehicle Billing Specialist at our Indianapolis, IN location. This is a full time position that requires a hardworking, dependable and reliable individual.

Description: The Vehicle Billing Specialist Level – 2 is responsible for accurate and timely invoicing and posting of the motor vehicle sales into system with little to no supervision.

Duties:

• Review and process Daily Vehicle Invoicing
• Review and post Daily Journal Entries for Vehicle Sales
• Vehicle Costing Analysis and Review
• Vehicle Profit Analysis review and comparison
• Accrual processing for pending costs
• Reconcile Customer PO's to Internal Sales Documents
• Finance Points revenue recognition
• Review applicable fees (sales tax, DMV, etc.)
• Review and follow up with Sales Representatives and service department on pending items
• Provide billing reports to management
• Provide general accounting support as needed, including audit. Verify number of delivery statuses to customers.
• Resolve complex vehicle sales situations
• Produce sales invoices, Proforma invoices and quotes in an accurate and timely manner, etc.

Position Requirements:

• 3 years accounting experience and or AA/AS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional, Punctual and Reliable
• Understanding of General Accounting Concepts
• Familiar with office administration related procedures
• Understanding of double entry accounting
• Understating of the Accounting Billing Cycle
• Type 65 WMPM, 10 key
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing invoices
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
• Familiar with basic understanding of costing principles
• Familiar with the COGS, Gross Profit, and Gross Margin concepts.
• Familiar computer systems, including the ability to operate computerized accounting packages, spreadsheets, word processors, and email.
• Familiar with Aging and other Accounts Receivables Reports
• Successful completion of Vehicle Billing Specialist Training Program
• Ability to resolve the majority of complex vehicle sales situations with minimal to no instruction needed
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle components and all individuals involved
• Strong understanding of sales/use tax computations for invoicing
• Strong understanding of the sales/cogs accounting journal entry
• Strong understanding of standard documents used during the sales process
• Strong understanding of all aspects of vehicle invoicing
• Strong understanding of trades, valuations, payoffs and finance options
• Accurate and prompt production of sales invoices, Proforma Invoices and Quotations.
• Productivity level must be in accordance with the department standards
• Maintain a good positive working relationship with other sales related departments
• Must be able to respond to sales departments inquiries in a timely manner
