Job Description: Benefits Administrator (Part Time)
Department: Account Management Team
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Account Management
Employment Type: Part-Time
This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week in an office located in Newtown Square. In this role, you are welcome to pick your hours although they must be during our standard business hours of 8:30 to 5 pm. We are happy to train someone who is reliable and a quick learner!
Job Summary
The Part Time Benefits Administrator assists the Account Managers in the day-to-day management of the clients of Creative Benefits, Inc. The focus of this position would be our Small Group market. The lines of coverage may include, medical, dental, vision, group Life and AD&D insurance, disability and voluntary benefits.
Job Responsibilities
1. Updates database and manages the data accuracy
2. Assist with the carrier installation process, i.e., collect, track and scrub all applications, build enrollment census and audit all member enrollments.
3. Supports the Account Manager in presentation compilation to market the annual benefits renewal to the applicable carriers
4. Assists the Account Manager with the open enrollment process, i.e., preparing communications, handouts, worksheets, scheduling the carriers and ordering supplies.
5. Ensures data accuracy of all presentations provided to the account management team.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is an individual contributor and not responsible for the leadership of other employees.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time position working 20 hours per week. Days and hours of work are flexible and will be expected during normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
There is no required or expected travel for this position.
