Creamery, Ice Cream Shop is Hiring a Store Manager (Seasonal Store) Near Frankfort, IL

Store Manager

Creamery is seeking a qualified individual to manage our Frankfort location. On the job training will be provided by our seasoned management staff. The location is seasonal (open from March - October) with reduced hours available to work at our Mokena location during the off season.

Summary Description: Seeking a manager accountable for leading the store by implementing operational and financial standards on each scheduled shift. Responsible for building a cross trained staff within the Restaurant. The Manager is responsible for assessing staff performance to identify opportunities and coach for improvement. This position has accountability to ensure all procedures and policies are enforced.

Store and Customer Responsibilities

· Effectively Manage Shifts

· Ensure store is properly staffed

· Ensure food is properly stored and prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and recipe adherence

· Ensure service, hospitality, accuracy and speed standards are achieved

· Maintain strict compliance with health, safety and security standards and procedures

· Train, coach and inspire assistant managers and cashiers to deliver exceptional service, food quality and environment to customers

· Demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving skills

· Ensure accurate adherence to all State and Federal laws on assigned shift

· Lead by Example

· Has authority to discipline associates

· Recommends associates for hiring and promotion

· Recommends associates for termination

· Customer Satisfaction: Build the business by relentlessly pursuing excellence and growing customer counts year over year.

· Manage customer complaints swiftly and appropriately

· Effectively interact with Guests to ensure we exceed their expectations with the highest quality food and great service

· Train employees to greet guests immediately

· Motivate all Associates to deliver great hospitality toward all guests and other associates

· Create a positive team environment with knowledgeable associates working together through shift huddles and ongoing coaching

· Attend manager meetings with owners to help guide the direction of the Company

Financial Responsibility

· Manage profitable shifts by ensuring fresh/quality food and excellent service, increasing quality and reducing cost.

· Ensure appropriate staffing levels of well-trained associates on assigned shifts

· Inventory management

· Check in food delivery, ensure proper storage

· Complete food orders and maintain positive relationship with vendors

· Maintain strict adherence to cash handling and banking policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS: Typical minimum requirement to perform the job.

· Restaurant management experience preferred

· High School graduate or equivalent education preferred

· Ability to complete food safety course

· Understand laws, Health codes, Safe food handling and Sanitation procedures

· Positive, motivating communication skills

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Strong coaching and mentoring skills

· Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances

· Flexibility of schedule to make sure the store is properly staffed

· Ability to read, write, perform mathematical calculations and analyze data

· Able to work in excess of 50 hours per week while standing, walking and stretching

· Able to lift, carry, push and pull 30 lbs.

· Able to perform any task performed by a service or production associate

· Able to see across the restaurant to monitor and oversee the operation

· Able to legally operate a motor vehicle

· Able to hear, understand and professionally respond to guest and employee inquiries, comments and concerns

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
