Staff Accountant with 2-3 years experience.

• Maintain accuracy of the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts for all entities.
• Enter and classify expense receipts.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements for all entities.
• Create a weekly cash flow forecast and compare it to the actuals.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Create adjusting journal entries as needed.
• Allocate corporate expenses to various sister companies.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Perform monthly inventory counts and determine material usage.
• Prepare internal financial statements for upper management.
• Compile sales and use tax for necessary entities.
• Prepare budget vs. actuals report for management and provide explanations on variance.
• Prepare monthly reports showing sales and marketing metrics for corporate and all franchises.
• Audit franchisees for compliance with their zip codes and gross sales reporting.
• Work together with other departments on financial-related matters.
• Assist with yearly budget preparation.
• Assist with yearly Franchising audit.
• Focus on improving efficiency by improving, maintaining, and developing processes and procedures.
• Continuously work on various other assigned projects after closing periods.
