Crane Aerospace and Electronics has a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Business Analyst II at our Lynnwood, WA.

Job Summary:

The Analyst, Sales Tools and Processes  must be a leader with superior communication, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to help develop best practices through Crane Aerospace & Electronics.   The Analyst is responsible for supporting and continually improving the sales opportunity funnel process through our CRM tools. The analyst is also responsible for gathering, synthesizing, and developing business recommendations based on data analysis and assisting the sales team in positioning the company within chosen market segments using Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

 This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire.

Essential Functions:

• Organize and maintain the opportunity sales funnel within CX (Oracle)
• Become CX subject matter expert, train users, and encourage adoption
• Gather CX user feedback and implement improvements
• Establish and drive sales funnel process improvements through documentation and standardization
• Measure opportunity accuracy; Determine cause of error in order to make continuous improvements.
• Support implementation and adoption of data visualization and analytics tools across the sales operations functions and stakeholders
• Organize and maintain the sales and marketing Continuous Improvement Roadmap funnel in support of strategic objectives
• Propose software tools, technology, and other communication methods to facilitate documenting and communicating sales opportunity, bookings and backlog
• Contribute recommendations based on sales win/loss results to improve capture rates
• Support submission of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Financial, SIOP and Master Scheduling business processes
• Support the development of a the strategic revenue forecast and assist the creation of, and maintain three-five year market forecast new business opportunities
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Minimum Qualifications :

·       Experience: Experience with sales funnel tools, processes and exposure to Lean methodology

·       Knowledge: Familiarity with Data Analytics software (Power BI) preferred

·       Skills/Abilities: Superior quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; Demonstrated  project management and reporting skills; Exceptional oral and written communications skills; Demonstrated advanced analytical skills; Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI); Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and opportunities and to implement effective improvements and control plans; Ability to present to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions

·       Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in technical field or business/finance, MBA desired

Preferred Qualifications :

·       Oracle CX

·       Power BI or equivalent data visualization

·       Lean and continuous improvement methods

Working Conditions :

• Standard office environment
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

·       May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

• Requires some travel to support customers meetings, Crane Aerospace and Electronics site visits, conferences, seminars and trade shows

Salary range: $102,214 to $124,954. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
