Crane Holdings Co is Hiring a Regional Sales Manager Near AZ, AZ

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in Chandler, AZ.

As a Regional Sales Manager for our Microwave Solution you will be responsible booking of orders for microwave products within an assigned territory or set of accounts. Duties include seeking out and developing new business opportunities to apply microwave products and technical capabilities to meet customer requirements. You will also solicit and qualify bid requests intelligence, and submitting proposals where applicable.

This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire.

Responsibilities

·Execute sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of company products and/or services.

·Solicit new business from current customers and potential new customers in area and accounts of responsibility.

·Recommend a capture strategy for all critical opportunities which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run.

·Prepare bids and proposals in response to solicited & unsolicited RFQ’s.

·Utilize CRM sales data base to update & maintain contacts and bookings forecast in area of responsibility.

·Interface with customers as well as all representatives & internal departments within Microwave Systems Solution.

·Lead efforts in contract review & negotiations, working with Contracts Manager as appropriate.

·Prepare reports on all sales efforts and alert management concerning new market potential, results of travel, internal customer attended meetings and competitor’s activities.

·Perform other related duties as directed.

·Participates in establishing booking and marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.

·Ensure effective expense control of sales activities to achieve designated budgets within company guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

·Bachelor's degree. Preferred in Engineering

·5 years experience in sales and marketing of defense microwave component, subsystem & systems and/or 5 years in RF Engineering.

·Demonstrated ability to write professional & effective business correspondence.

·Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

·Ability to prepare & present presentations and develop articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format including presenting information to top management and public groups.

·Willingness to travel on a regular basis.

·Must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

· Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
