Speech-Language Pathologist - Per Diem

As the Per Diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Speech-Language Pathologist at Drew Memorial Hospital, you are responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role you will perform Modified Barium Swallows for adults as well as assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability.

Schedule: This position will work up to 19 hours per week and a minimum of 4 hours per month providing coverage "as needed." 

About the Facility: Drew Memorial Health System is a non-profit, 60 bed, community-owned acute care facility that serves a population of 200,000 in Southeast Arkansas. Services include an Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Cancer Center Infusion Services, a Sleep Center, Women's Services, Imaging, Radiology, Respiratory, Rehabilitation Therapy, Inpatient and Outpatient senior Psychiatric Services, Wound Care, Home Health and Lab. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this Rehabilitation Department.This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language Pathology ​
• Current Arkansas Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing 
• Current BCLS certification
• One year of acute care and outpatient experience preferred 

Hospital Requirements (may be needed):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• (Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1^st-April 30^th
• Covid-19 Vaccination( required)
