As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Pharmacy at Marion General Hospital, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team. As the Pharmacy Director, you will provide direction and oversight to the Pharmacy Department which includes a Pharmacy Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians (Medication Reconciliation Technician, 340B Specialist and Buyer).
Schedule: This position works a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily daytime hours Monday through Friday.
About the Facility: Marion General Hospital is a 119--bed acute care hospital, accredited by HFAP, that provides services to Adult and Pediatric residents of Grant County. Hospital services include Cardiovascular, Neonatal, Surgical, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Radiology, as well as 340B services. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The inpatient pharmacy is open and provides services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The pharmacy provides both centralized and provided decentralized clinical services. Pharmacy systems include MediTech, CPOE, and Pyxis. Upcoming pharmacy automation implementations include Pyxis IV Prep and Pyxis Logistics.
