The Counter performs final count in the Fabrication process to reconcile cards back into the sheets issued from Batch Audit Performs Material Transactions of Fabrication materials.

Responsibilities

Hourly rate - $18.00

shift diff - $2.70

Hourly rate $20.70

Schedule: 3rd Shift, Fri-Sun 4:00am-4:00pm, training will be on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Reads and interprets the shop floor router and workmanship manual as well as applicable specifications.
  • Sets up the card counter to accurately count cards.
  • Counts cards from the finishing processes; reconciles back to previous count validated work center.
  • Obtains printout from the counter and attaches to the Finishing Ticket.
  • Avoids mixing cards from multiple jobs at all costs.
  • Ensures the job is balanced in blind audit system, rectifying any discrepancies prior to releasing the batch to the next process.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions (written and verbal). Have the ability to write simple report. Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Good detail and decision-making skills in order to set up equipment, check product quality and make adjustments to meet customer deadlines and requirements
  • Ability to set up computer-aided machinery and a solid understanding of Windows-based personal computers, including the ability to interface with a PC by inputting and out putting data and loading and unloading programs
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others
  • If identified as a trainer, the ability to effectively train others
  • Ability to follow/interpret written and oral instructions and specifications in English
  • Must be security and safety oriented
  • Must be reliable through good attendance, punctuality, and cooperation
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time without sitting.
