Then it’s time for you to apply to join the pack. The Principal Data Engineer will build upon their experience and provide technical leadership to Coyote’s data systems. Working directly with senior management, they will architect and create data solutions to discover data trends, automatically refine raw data for consumption in models and analytics, and optimize data pipelines and storage. The Principal Data Engineer will act as a force multiplier, helping Coyote view data as a service and allow other teams to contribute directly. The ideal candidate is excited by data centralization and governance initiatives. They enjoy creating reusable enterprise frameworks, optimize DevOps workflows, creating data frameworks, and democratizing data. Their flexibility, strong leadership, mentorship, organization skills, and ability to communicate effectively with anyone at Coyote will ensure their success. Essential Functions: Build upon past experiences and learnings to create innovative solutions to problems Create reusable enterprise frameworks to scale data throughout the firm Create reusable and scalable processes to identify, analyze, and interpret complex data sets Design, implement and maintain on-prem, cloud, and hybrid data pipelines to Data Models, Data Lakes, and Enterprise Data Warehouses Design and develop solutions to automate data quality management Setting and achieving performance, concurrency, and global scalability targets Create or select frameworks to troubleshoot and pinpoint root causes for data discrepancies and improve data accuracy and consistency Collaborate across the Coyote Technologies team to progress and scale our data products Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to identify opportunities for Data Services Offerings Required Experience: 6 Years of experience with relational databases (Such as Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, or Oracle) 6 Years working with data integration and transformation tools (Such as SSIS, Data Factory, Glue, “No ETL”) 3 Years building and maintaining cloud-based big data pipelines (Such as Azure, AWS, or Google) 3 Years of DevOps/DataOps/MLOps experience Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or others Proficiency with NoSQL databases (Such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, or DynamoDB) Highly independent and motivated with the ability to thrive in a team environment Preferred Skills & Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with technical experience or Master’s degree in Information Technology Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills Proven analytical & problem-solving skills Proficiency with serverless architectural patterns & Kubernetes Why Coyote?
