Job Description:
Project Support Specialist performs workforce management for Cox Business Fulfillment Field, Staging, and Service Assurance Technicians. Coordinates projects with the CB Project Management team through the life cycle of installation with Field Engineering and Operations.
  • Documents receipt of equipment and purchase orders in Oracle.
  • Works in OPTIX Prime, WATTS, SharePoint calendars, Remedy, WebRequester, WebXNG, Microsoft EXCEL & Word
  • Assists in research of invoice discrepancies (e.g. investigates invoices that do not match purchase orders), ensuring appropriate coding of the purchase order and validating expected charges based on work orders.
  • Provides weekly reporting, such as workforce capacity, for CB Fulfillment and Service Assurance teams.
  • Tracks materials received by CB Fulfillment through complete lifecycle with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance to Receiving.
  • Manages contract labor tracking per project.
  • Executes problem-solving skills and judgment related to projects.
  • Scheduling resources for Off-net, near-net with equipment and on-net equipment installations, including demark extensions and staging operations.
  • Creates ECR tickets in Remedy, adding all network monitoring, Solarwinds, and Netcool. Also, manages ECR scheduling changes.
  • Review Access Engineering work packages scope of work, BOM, and Construction field notes to determine workforce required for successful deployment.
  • Organizes Outside Plant field notes, engineering information and customer information for the Fulfillment and Service Assurance Technicians. This also includes processing contract labor for billing purposes in Oracle.
  • Responds to emails delivered into department within a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by FE&O Leadership.
Required
  • BA/BS with less than 2 years’ experience or 4 years of education/experience equivalency with no Degree
  • 1 years of experience in administrative support role
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, organization and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
Preferred
  • Experience working in Supply Chain, Procurement or Warehousing
  • Experience tracking and reporting capital expenditures and operating expenses
  • Experience using Oracle or related accounting tools
