Job Summary:
A Referral Coordinator is someone who has excellent customer service and phone skills, is detail-oriented, self-directed, and who has excellent computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records. You'll work in a fast paced environment and be a part of a team that provides health care and social services to a population of varying socioeconomic backgrounds. The Referral Coordinator is responsible for processing, scheduling, obtaining prior authorization and tracking of all medical referral requests and authorizations from primary care providers, specialists and vendors.
