This position requires:

· HS Diploma or GED

· Professional and courteous demeanor

· Basic computer knowledge for emails/charting

Responsibilities:

· The Behavioral Health Associates (BHAs) ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive and structured environment.

· The BHAs interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.

· The BHAs engage patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.

· The BHAs may provide transportation for patient or coordinate transportation with appropriate staff members.
