Provide quality food and customer service to all guests, customers, and employees according to the standards set forth by the Courtyard by Marriott standards.
Essential Functions:
· Prepare and serve food courses to guest.
· Set and clear tables according to the type of event and service standards.
· Be knowledgeable about and answer questions on menu selections.
· Communicate length of wait and product availability to guests, and re-cook orders as needed.
· Record transaction in HSI system at time of order.
· Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
· Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.
· Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, tables, etc., throughout the scheduled shift.
· Complete opening and closing duties as outlined on the Bistro Duties checklist, including restocking items, cleaning up bistro area, seating area and kitchen.
Shift 5am-1pm
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
· Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor/General Manager.
· Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training such as Courtyard by Marriott Service Training, food and beverage safety handling training and certification, and all other meetings and training assigned by supervisor/General Manager.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
· Perform all other appropriate related and unrelated duties assigned.
