Coulson Group is Hiring a Remote Remote Benefits Coordinator (Part-Time)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join our rapidly growing organization. This is an exciting remote position that is being offered part-time. The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for assisting employees in managing and understanding their benefits and acting in an administrative support role for the biweekly processing of US payroll for approximately 170 USA employees.

THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE

Responsibilities:

Benefits:

  • Processing US benefit plan set up for employees and provide enrollment information.
  • Assisting employees with any questions that they have about their benefit plans
  • Helping to advise employees about the benefit options, company policies, leaves of absence, disability information, etc.
  • Processing PTO and time off requests, being able to provide employees with PTO balances
  • Manage and maintain COBRA and ACA to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Manage the 401k portfolio
  • Maintains accurate employee records

Assists the USA Payroll Administrator with the following tasks:

  • Bi-weekly payroll processing for 170 US based employees
  • Manage and Process wage garnishments and child support and other payroll deductions
  • Setup and maintain payroll tax information for all applicable states
  • Maintaining employee and company data for USA Payroll
  • Preparing payroll statements and reports
  • Reviewing system generated W-2’s against final pay statements and approving them
  • Calculate and prepare related party invoices for approval
  • Assist in preparing and investigating Concur/Expense reimbursement calculations
  • Other assigned work

Requirements:

  • BA Degree in HR, Finance, or Business
  • 2 years of experience working in Benefits
  • 1 years working in Payroll or an administrative support role
  • Proficient with MS Office products

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a high-volume environment dealing with multiple employee transactions on a daily basis
  • Basic knowledge of US payroll regulations would be considered an asset
  • Experience with UKG, Ulti-Pro and/or Workforce management would be considered an asset

  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment, researching and continuous learning

THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE

$21 - $27/hour, eligible for 401K after 1000 hours of service.
