About the Role:

Construction Quality Control Manager responsible for managing and performing the daily QC responsibilities to verify the project is constructed in accordance with the contract documents and established standards. Responsibilities include direct oversight and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the work in conjunction with other in-house and external personnel to produce and document a quality product

  • Responsible for overall management of the project quality control system.
  • Manage the development and implementation of the project-specific CQC Plan.
  • Understand the project execution plan and coordinate CQC procedures at appropriate stages of the work, in line with the project schedule.
  • Maintain client liaison and communication for quality assurance related activities.
  • Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work. 
  • Conduct daily field inspections and check to assure that all materials and/or equipment have been tested, submitted, and approved.
  • Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to verify that work is proceeding with the contract documents and approved submittals.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of all quality standards put in place.
  • Track, investigate, and closeout non-conformance issues.
  • Produce detailed daily reports 
  • Oversee document management and assist in preparing project submittals.
  • Stop work if necessary to resolve matters regarding safety or quality.
  • Other Quality Control related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Associate's degree in construction management or related field; Bachelor's preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction management as
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CQC
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
