Responsibilties:

• Works on various types of electrical and mechanical equipment associated with disel engine generating equipment.
• Applies the principles of mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and statistical process control to repair, rebuild, troubleshoot, and make technical decisions
• Uses practical applications of the following skills: machining, welding, general fabrication, NDT inspection, electrical, blue print reading, supervising, and customer service.
• This position requires the person to be on-call to respond to customers needs

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates ability to work in a team
• Ability to use measurement tools, recognize materials used to rebuild engine components, ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
• Certified or capable of being certified to A WS D1.1/D15 welding/ SNT-TC-1A ASNT NDT standard
