We have an immediate opening for a construction project manager. Applicants must have a BS in Civil Engineering, 5 years of construction experience, and knowledge of the WisDOT construction process. Past experience of leading or being the assistant project leader on large WisDOT construction projects is required.

This engineering position offers an excellent opportunity for upward mobility within a growing firm. Specific duties include:

• Manage projects to ensure that project deliverables and budgets are met.
• Work cooperatively with other project managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Attend and participate in meetings with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and the general public.
• Perform construction inspection duties as needed.
• Ensure that construction conforms to the specifications, plans, and special provisions.
• Verify appropriate materials are being used and are accompanied with appropriate documentation.
• Provide technical support, oversight, and leadership to assigned project staff.
• Perform business development for company's services as well as develop project proposals.
• Review design plans and assist with plan development as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with WisDOT and local agency procedures for design and construction.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with delivery of large construction projects in leading role.
• Proficient in preparing and organizing project documentation.
• WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) certifications desirable.
• Valid driver's license.
