Overview

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST(HYBRID – BOSTON; NEW YORK; WASHINGTON, D.C.; CHICAGO)

The Learning and Development Specialist will have primary responsibility for designing and implementing programs that support the firm’s strategy for the continued professional development and learning of its Consultant staff. This individual will work closely with fellow L&D and Talent team members, Consultants and others to design new programs and initiatives, bringing proven creative approaches to a range of different learning environments (in person, online and virtual). Additionally, this role will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining existing content, and migrating existing content to online formats.

How You’ll Help Our Team Succeed

  • Design creative, interactive and impactful learning programs for the consulting staff, partnering with consultants and talent team members.
  • Manage the organization and implementation of learning programs for consulting staff, in partnership with other team members including preparation of materials, preparing faculty, post-program evaluation, and managing access through the Learning Management System.
  • Manage the firm’s Learning Management System, working to drive deeper usage and adoption, and finding ways to better leverage its capability.
  • Support the orientation and integration of processes and programs for new employees, helping to drive improvement of on-boarding the firm’s new hires.
  • Partner as needed on firmwide talent initiatives, such as the Team Barometer, Advisor feedback etc.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience, in a professional services firm preferred.
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm’s financial and operational functions
  • The mindset to provide superior service
  • Experience in content design required.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Experience in managing an LMS required, experience with Cornerstone OnDemand a plus.
  • Strong team player. Highly adaptable and collaborates effectively with others.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
