About the Role:

You will be responsible for the FEMA IPAWS team. You will be managing a team of dedicated consultants to support this Federal government client with responsibilities spanning: client and stakeholder relationship management; team and performance management; resource planning and oversight; project planning, execution, and monitoring; and contract management. 

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Assume the initiative and provide support to Corporate management in identifying future requirements
  • Carry out our Commitments toDeliver, Grow, and Thrive
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a Program Management Plan that guides the performance of all functional activities performed on the Program
  • Evolve into a subject matter expert and master required skills
  • Maintain customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations
  • Manage all aspects of program activity
  • Manage and identify efficiencies or tools to improve existing/new organizational processes
  • Provide technical and financial reports in order to show progress to Corporate management and customers
  • Quickly establish, develop, and foster positive rapport with federal government clients in a professional, creative environment
  • ​​​​​​​Represent a program management office team particular to a government agency
  • Responsible for all aspects of program performance (technical, contractual, administrative, financial)
  • Spearhead ‘action planning’ and implement new, creative initiatives 

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely in metro-accessible Washington DC.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Comfortable working at a strategic level while producing high quality client deliverable
  • Demonstrated project management ability
  • Demonstrates anunflappable attitude even when faced with changes or adversity
  • Direct experience working on a daily (face-to-face) basis to advise senior level clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience managing similar federal financial assistance business process projects
  • Familiarity with the functional aspects of federal financial assistance programs and management of important events or tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience
  • Possess comprehensive, in-depth technical expertise and experience with quantitative and qualitative program evaluation designs, methods, and approaches
  • Receptive to all forms of feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactive to make changes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Skilled in problem solving with a flexible approach towards stakeholders 
  • Skilled in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) development/writing
  • US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
