Corner Alliance is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that devotes itself to providing an enriching employee experience while meeting project deliverables. We are looking to add an energetic, experienced Grants Specialist (Consultant) with 2 years of experience to join our team that will add to our culture and fully embrace our commitments to deliver, grow and thrive. During your tenure with us, you will work on various projects across Federal agencies. Those who have fulfilling careers here get involved across the company, helping the organization grow and supporting a thriving work environment. Whether you’re a Consultant or in Operations, you will work in meaningful ways to create results for the government.

About the Role:

You will provide post-award grants monitoring and evaluation program support to a Federal government client. The role is an opportunity for you to join a consulting team that supports meaningful and mission-oriented work for our Federal government clients.

Responsibilities include conducting Federal grants program monitoring and evaluation (desk reviews); analyzing and processing data; collaborating with colleagues to clearly define project goals; implementing grantee communication and outreach plans; and generating effective solutions to fulfill project needs and objectives. The person in this role will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail who can juggle many tasks on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Federal clients with administering up to three nationwide grants programs, supporting programmatic reporting, monitoring, communications, and technical assistance activities
  • Identifying, tracking, and analyzing grantee performance qualitative and quantitative data such as theming, sorting, and categorizing for entry into a grants data management system and program-wide reports
  • Assisting the team to prepare for and execute meetings, including developing agendas, overall logistics, note taking, tracking actions, producing reports, and/or supporting next steps
  • Tracking stakeholder interactions and making recommendations for stakeholder engagement, outreach planning, and overall communications
  • Supporting cross-departmental initiatives, effectively collaborating with all parties to successfully fulfill client needs
  • Preparing high-level briefings and talking points for Federal staff
  • Carrying out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow and Thrive

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely until it is safe to be at the client-site in metro-accessible Washington DC.

*You will interview, onboard, and work remotely due to COVID-19 until it is safe to return to the office*

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of professional experience that includes internships
  • Experience working in Salesforce or other grant management/CRM software

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Broadband program support including experience with digital inclusion and working with minority and tribal communities
  • Experience creating graphic content (e.g. slick sheets, webinars, conference handouts, direct mailings, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Previous experience in consulting, business writing, meeting preparation and facilitation

Don’t think you have everything for this role but are still very interested? Please don’t hold back from applying because you may not have it all. There's no such thing as a perfect candidate. You can learn and grow with us. So, please apply if you consider yourself to be detail-oriented, can re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment, have great client management and people management skills, can manage high quality deliverables on time and this is a role that would make you excited to work every day.
