Overview

Corgan MediaLab seeks a dynamic and experienced Senior Producer to join our growing Dallas office! This position is responsible for producing video/VFX projects that support our architectural clientele. The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial production background and in-depth understanding of turnkey production processes. These include: working with Creative Lead and Executive Producer to plan and launch a project; project scheduling, tracking and coordination; communicating with artists, support staff, vendors, and clients on a per project basis. Candidate will perform estimation, bidding, planning and scheduling of projects to include coordination of internal/external resources, applying quality control and ensuring that deadlines are met. This individual will also facilitate client communication, including managing client expectations and working with other members of the production team to keep the workflow on track.

The Senior Producer must have excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a strong ability to multi-task, in order to manage multiple projects together with the daily workflow demands of the studio. The ideal candidate will have an artistic sense and grasp of story flow as well as an ability to understand new technical concepts pertaining to individual projects. Candidate should be a self-starter, a problem-solver and have strong leadership skills, ensuring production teamwork and high-quality deliverables. Successful candidates will also be assertive and have the ability to work well with a variety of different people.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of all planning aspects of a project including production schedules, artist assignments, facilitation of project meetings, and arrangement of internal/external resources
• Schedule and lead project status meetings, project kick off and wrap meetings, and client reviews as needed
• Communicate on a constant basis with Management Team to ensure that projects and workflows stay on track.
• Facilitate resources and communications that support the creative direction established by the project’s Creative Lead.
• Maintain communication with client, including managing client expectations and deadlines
• Responsible for documenting and incorporating client changes and feedback
• Provide creative solutions for incorporating adjustments based on client feedback, technology issues, project milestones and budgets
• Organize and maintain team production schedule and ensure projects and deliverables are on-time and within budget
• Ensure that Artist time is properly tracked and accounted for on assigned projects by reviewing and approving artist timesheets
• Work with Management Team to maintain highest quality possible within timeframe and budget
• Send final deliverables to the client
• Reconcile, organize, and close out jobs and job folders upon completion
• Ensure project wrap procedures are completed and the necessary files are copied so the job may be archived
• Other duties as assigned including support for studio events, administrative support, etc.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a degree in production field (film, communication or related) or equivalent experience along with a demonstrated ability to understand and apply production workflows from concept to delivery.

Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs, Adobe Photoshop, and ability to learn new software and media platforms. Strong production experience to streamline production workflows as well as interact with client, artists and production team(s) required.
