Corgan is Hiring an Infrastructure Manager | Information Technology Near Dallas, TX

Overview

Corgan, a leading global architecture and interior design firm, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Infrastructure Manager. 

This position will lead our fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative Core Technology team. The Core Technology team is responsible for the firm’s network, cybersecurity, on-prem virtual server environment and associated hardware, cloud platforms and end-user support. The Infrastructure Manager will be instrumental in growing and supporting the firm’s systems and global network. An ideal candidate uses sound judgment and decision making to maintain the innovative technology infrastructure of the firm and provide timely and effective leadership of the Incident Response team in responding to cyber security events. This position offers many opportunities to foster strong internal and external relationships and enhance the firm’s technology service offerings. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and advocacy for members of the Core Technology team 
  • Develop project scopes and objectives for IT projects, involving all relative stakeholders 
  • Keep multiple projects on track to ensure they are completed on time and to specification 
  • Stay current with emerging technology and research and recommend future technology solutions 
  • Ensure high availability and performance of critical technology resources 
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure hardware, software, and networking issues 
  • Install and maintain operating systems, application software with regular patching and upgrading 
  • Serve in a leadership role on the Incident Response Team.
  • Maintain security procedures to protect systems from unauthorized use and user abuse 
  • Manage and provide cost oversight on cloud platforms.
  • Participate in annual technology budget forecasting 
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Travel to other Corgan offices as required 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS 
  • 7 years of relevant experience 
  • System administration experience with Microsoft Windows platforms and Active Directory 
  • Administration experience of VMware infrastructure, LAN, WAN, and wireless networking 
  • Experience with Office 365, SCCM, AWS, Azure, Azure AD, IIS, SQL administration 
  • Possess strong problem-solving and time/project management skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical personnel
