CORESPHERE, LLC is Hiring a Remote Proposal Manager

Position Summary: CoreSphere is hiring a senior level Proposal Manager to produce professionally written proposal and pitch content that articulates the organizations value proposition and win themes. This is a very important role that requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and demanding deadlines. The Proposal Manager plays a leading role in ensuring the effective co-ordination and timely completion of tenders. The Proposal Manager is typically engaged to help develop the value proposition and articulate the win themes and solution narrative. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in writing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment. The Proposal Manager will be experienced in leading storyboarding sessions, participating in key review meetings / final document review, content sign-off, and document production. Excellent written English language skills are essential for this role. Experience of coordinating / managing and updating a knowledgebase system is also desirable. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of proposal development (proposal writing, editing, illustration, production efforts, etc.) from assignment and receipt of RFP, through delivery and receipt by the customer.
  • Develop all proposal development materials including but not limited to proposal annotated outline, compliance matrix, proposal kick-off meeting materials, data calls, storyboard and writing plans.
  • Develop and maintain proposal schedule and ensure adherence to all deadlines.
  • Lead all proposal-specific meetings (kick-offs, color reviews, win themes, working sessions, etc.)
  • Provide detailed guidance to proposal writers/contributors within CoreSphere and its subcontractors.
  • Review and ensure proposal compliance - perform quality check of all proposal sections and volumes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, English or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience with proposal writing and proposal coordination
  • Fully versed in proposal life cycle development process
  • Read, analyze and interpret governmental solicitation, policies and procedures, and government regulations (DFARs and FARs)
  • Experience developing proposal outlines aligned with Scope of Work and Evaluation Criteria
  • Experience conducting proposal kickoff’s, proposal color reviews, and necessary logistics for timely proposal submission
  • Experience assessing RFP/RFQ packages for requirements to ensure compliance with all submission requirements
  • Experience preparing and managing proposal development schedule from pre/post RFP to submission
  • Comprehend and process information accurately and rapidly
  • Strong working knowledge with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to standardize content across platforms and media
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrating success in drafting narratives for winning proposals
  • Formal proposal training (e.g., Shipley, etc.)
  • Superior analytic skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience in the supporting the capture process
  • Experience developing proposals for CRM, Case Management, IT Service Management, Grants Management, Salesforce Solutions, and ServiceNow Solutions
