Corenic Construction is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Washington, DC

Corenic is seeking an experienced, well-versed, enthusiastic and goal-oriented Project Manager for their Operations/Project Management department. In this role, the candidate will carry out the following essential duties and key responsibilities:

  • Manage own projects; plan work schedule, determine manpower levels and project objectives, policies and procedures;
  • Initiate and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, architects and/or engineers, as well other key business relationships.
  • Provide technical assistance with interpretation of drawings, methods and equipment needed.
  • Professionally represent Corenic in project meetings.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts and prepare bids and proposal submissions to clients.
  • Simultaneously manage 3-5 projects in various stages of construction and effectively communicate changes in project to all necessary parties.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar field
  • Must possess 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor that specializes in interiors
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Previous experience with ProCore
  • Prior experience working with a project management team and coordinating with Superintendents, clients, vendors, etc.
