Associate Product Manager

Position Description: 

As a CoreLink Associate Product Manager you will aid in the development and maintenance of new and existing product lines from concept through obsolescence. You will assist the Marketing team in all aspects of product maintenance for existing product lines, gathering feedback from internal and external customers on new product lines, and product line promotion. You will be a member of a cross functional team that includes engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and medical education.

Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will perform the following:

  • Support Product Managers in ensuring successful new product releases and system enhancements.
  • Support the Marketing department in externally facing activities such as trade shows and customer engagement.
  • Facilitate presentation of concepts and product plans for surgeons, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical field support to sales and assist in meeting sales objectives.
  • Aid in market research and analysis, competitive analyses and product forecasts.
  • Monitor and document required product feedback and performance.
  • Contribute to development of key sales and surgeon education materials as part of new product launches.
  • Create brand imaging, social media, product presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Support creation of business plans and marketing strategies.
  • Support evaluation of new technologies in cadaveric settings.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of orthopedic and spine surgical procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task a variety of responsibilities, functions under deadlines/time constraints and pressures, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to process and track a high volume of information and assignments. Follow-through skills and strong attention to detail a must.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Must be able to work independently, have excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility.
  • Ability and willingness to work over-time as dictated by business needs.
  • Ability to travel outside of normal working hours.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or Engineering
  • Product experience in a sales, marketing, or engineering capacity
  • 2 years of experience working in medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with healthcare professionals
  • Implantable medical technologies experience
  • Experience in spine, orthopedic, biologics, or general surgery equipment

Physical Demands: Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and comfortable in surgical settings.

This position is located in Saint Louis, MO.

Anticipated Travel: 25 %
