Hours:

4:30pm - 5:00am, rotating shifts.

Job Type: Full-Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·Provide production schedule for plant operations with the ability to understand and identify potential deviations with reasons and impact

·Demonstrate spray dryer expertise plant dryer, ensure the spray drier operates optimally, conduct training for employees

·Track actual production to insure timely production of all products.

·Ensure pass down information/action items are coordinated between day and night shifts

·Identify production overruns and shortages. Identify solutions to either solve or at least mitigate these issues moving forward from reoccurring

·Ensures compliance with production, safety, sanitation, and quality standards and procedures

·Responsible for investigating and completing documentation associated with employee accidents and injuries as described in SOP

·Work with Shipping Department to determine future load sequences

·Attend the cross functional meetings

·Track labor availability for all production areas of the plant; accumulate labor availability for each production area of the plant

·Identify constraints and apply production limits where applicable

·Communicate changes in product availability when downtime or labor issues occur

·Track actual production yields of all products produced by plant

·Identify potential yield opportunities that could be obtained through scheduling process or attainment measures. Communicate opportunities with plant operations, corporate scheduling and planning teams

·Reinforce EWR Communication (Early Warning Reporting)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required Education and Experience

·Associates degree or equivalent food production experience

·3-5 years of food prep, production or equipment experience

Preferred Education and Experience

·Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

·Working knowledge of an ERP system

·Advanced Microsoft Office skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret sales agreements and contracts. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions concerning sales and product specifications from Executives, R&D, Operations, suppliers, and customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts relating product pricing and negotiations.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret technical information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Requires ability to travel up to 50% to customers, co-manufacturing plants, Innovation center, and manufacturing facility.
