Core4ce Careers is Hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst Near Hanahan, SC

Under the guidance of the E2C Cybersecurity Lead, the E2C Cybersecurity Analyst is accountable for ensuring that the appropriate operational IA posture is maintained for the E2C Network, sites, systems, and enclaves.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Information Assurance (IA) guidance, assessment and support for the development and implementation of secure systems and networks
  • Ensuring authorized systems are Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliant and operating under appropriate security and assurance controls for the full system lifecycle until the system is decommissioned
  • Contingency Plan (CP) maintenance
  • Processing Unclassified USB Requests, IA Special Requests and Classified Removable Media Requests for the lab
  • Ensure that network, site, system, or application ISs are certified and accredited
  • Ensure that all users have the requisite security clearances and need-to-know and are aware of their responsibilities before granting them access to an IS
  • Ensure that all IT users and operators read, understand, and sign an appropriate Network Users Agreement (i.e., NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, etc.) prior to receiving access to IT resources
  • Ensure that IA and IA-enabled software, hardware, and firmware comply with the appropriate security configurations
  • Maintaining A&A packages in eMASS
  • Managing the E2C port exception process by coordinating ACAS scans, POA&M generation and port exception submission to the NIWC LANT network security team
  • Documenting and tracking the accreditation status for E2C and OM test events, associated Cross Domain Solution (CDS) devices and IA requests
  • May perform the ISSE or Validator roles in eMASS

Requirements
• Experience working in DoD laboratories
• 2 years’ experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• 2 years’ experience Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
• IA experience including evaluating, testing, certification, and authorization of classified and sensitive but unclassified information systems, in addition to Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) products
• Analysis, disposition, and evaluation of both hardware and software in support of Intelligence Community (IC), and Department of Defense
• Registering/researching systems, applications, and networks within DITPR-DON or DADMS.
• Putting together ATO/IATT C&A packages
