Core4ce Careers is Hiring a Remote Communications Coordinator

Core4ce is hiring a Communications Coordinator to support efforts to increase brand awareness, engage priority audiences, and amplify thought leadership. The Communications Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Communications and Marketing and work collaboratively with our executive, human resources, and business development teams, employee resource groups, and innovation incubator.

After undergoing a comprehensive brand overhaul in 2022, Core4ce is poised to execute a communications strategy centered around the development of high-quality content that is tailored for internal and external audiences. The Communications Coordinator will apply their knowledge of earned, owned, and paid media to advance Core4ce’s organizational objectives. Responsibilities will include planning, creating, and measuring the reach and engagement of digital content, as well as coordinating with creative vendors, media outlets, and subject matter experts on the Core4ce team. 

This is a hybrid position. Work will primarily take place remotely, along with occasional in-person meetings at our Reston, VA or Alexandria, VA offices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an editorial calendar for Core4ce’s website and social media accounts
  • Draft social media posts and design digital graphics to platform specifications
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics reports to track digital content reach and engagement
  • Monitor current news for opportunities to engage on social and pitch Core4ce’s thought leaders as expert commentators on topics including cybersecurity, data management, AI/ML, and digital modernization of the defense industry
  • Support Core4ce’s subject matter experts by suggesting article topics, collaborating on outlines, proofing content, publishing articles on the website, and developing organic and paid amplification strategies
  • Track industry awards and prepare submission materials
  • Monitor industry events and media outlets and identify targeted sponsorship opportunities
  • Review branded materials - including corporate overview documents, product pitch decks, and capability one pagers - ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and corporate messaging
  • Support the Vice President of Communications and Marketing in planning and executing LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including developing audience profiles, designing ad creative, setting up ad groups, monitoring and optimizing live campaigns, and reporting on results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2 years of experience in an agency or in-house communications role
  • Excellent writing, grammatical, and copyediting skills
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a corporation, non-profit, government agency, or public official
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and identify tools, tactics, and platforms that can help Core4ce reach the right audiences and achieve our organizational objectives
  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically

Preferred 

  • Experience crafting successful media pitches
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns
  • Experience following brand guidelines and designing digital graphics and marketing collateral using the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design software
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, and WordPress
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and a strong understanding of graphic design principles
