- The Office Clerk is an entry level position. The ideal applicant will be a motivated individual who is interested in performing basic filing and clerical duties. The company is seeking a person who is able to work independently without outside distractions. Job Functions and Responsibilities · Must be able to numerically alphabetize files · Basic data entry skills are needed to be successful in this role · Responsible for opening and scanning in mail to the examiners and then put mail into the file · Be able to pull all closed files and box for storage · Ensure all closed claims are electronically entered into the system · Maintain the list of files in storage, making sure to identify the files reopened, pull them from storage and then filing them in the opened file room · Be able to identify each year the files that need to go over to the Legal department for approval to destroy · Required to lift heavy boxes to be placed into off site storage area - At Core Specialty, you will receive a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
