Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures of the facility
• Provide safety training to all managers/supervisors, employees, and Joint Health and Safety Committee, regarding their duties responsibilities
• Review safety statistics, conduct trend analysis and make recommendations for continual improvements
• Conduct as required workplace inspections, facility audits and provide a corrective/prevention action plan complete with responsibilities and timelines
• Conduct job hazard analysis and ergonomic assessments
• Report all incidents, near miss, and hazard id’s into the incident management database and determine corrective actions
• Manage workers compensation

Job Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in EH&S or related position
• Degree prefered
• Expert in OSHA compliance in industrial setting
• Experienced with heavy material (rigging, crane safety)
• Must have environmental experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• environmental: 5 years (Preferred)
• safety: 5 years (Preferred)
• heavy material handling: 5 years (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
