Core Medical Center is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Springs, MO

Core Medical Center is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist for our practice in Blue Springs. We are looking for someone with a warm caring personality and strong passion for patient care. Someone who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. We are in need of an energetic, positive and dynamic front desk receptionist that has great customer service skills. You will need to be a fast learner who pays attention to detail and has great computer skills. We are looking for someone who can multitask and has strong organizational skills. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will manage all front office functions including patient relations, check in/ check out and scheduling, insurance verification and answering phones
  • You will manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information
  • You will assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and or charge) including balancing the day in the computer
  • Fax, scan and shred as necessary
  • Corresponding with patients in person, via email and phone
  • Tracking appointment stats daily
  • Keep reception and front desk area clean and organized
  • Generate referrals
  • All other duties as assigned

What qualifications will you need?

  • One year of experience in a medical office setting
  • Experience using EHR systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
