Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, performs clerical accounting procedures requiring familiarity with, and experience in, accounting practices as well as knowledge of a variety of accounting classifications. Applies accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of financial and business transaction data, and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records. Performs complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities:

• Track monthly financial reports including vendor managed income contributions and return on vendor investment.
• Review monthly receivables for local and corporate programs.
• Data entry, maintenance and monitoring of all vendor programs for tracking including local purchasing and marketing programs and corporate pass-back programs. May include, but not limited to: billbacks, rebates, incentives for sales staff, flyer allowances, and managed income.
• Send invoices to vendors or brokers, verify receipt of monies, and follow-up on delinquencies.
• Print reports for management or other departments; maintain accurate records.
• Back up other accounting or administrative support staff, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance
• 1-2 years related experience preferred
