We are looking for a Product Manager to join our winning team!


General Position Summary

The Product Manager will manage specific projects, products or product portfolios as assigned in all aspects of the business including but not limited to market requirements, financial goals, financial reporting, engineering change requests, escalated service issues, curriculum development, sales training, customer product presentations, competitive analysis and positioning.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Directors to define the appropriate requirements for products in new development to meet the needs of the specific market segments in respect to revenue projections, margin targets and net income goals.
  • Drives and maintains all product model data and specifications into operations and sales systems, maintains product portfolio data accurately within operations and sales systems for product changes
  • Supports web site maintenance related to all specifications, copy and product related images
  • Supports the product line financial goals regarding revenue, margin and net income.
  • Assists in management of all product changes through change validation and return on investment analysis and initiates and monitors all Engineering Change Requests.
  • Must understand and respond to changing market conditions regarding pricing models and positioning for entire product line.
  • Work co-operatively with Product Directors on key tasks on the project team that relate to marketing rollout of new product development – including assistance in decisions regarding cost, schedule and performance
  • Must deliver all sales trainings on new product introductions as assigned, responsible for all updates and communication as it relates to the assigned product portfolio or product line
  • Works co-operatively with Product Team on delivering product / project details to Marketing Managers in order to allow for strategic planning for product introductions
  • Works with Product Development team on managing and monitoring beta site locations and collecting facility and end user feedback
  • Quarterly audit of all product 2D and 3D icon libraries and management of management of sale support floor planning and consulting tools.
  • Maintains quality control of all product related showrooms and trade shows and support marketing on the management of Marketing owned products

Specific Job Requirements

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
    • Strong analytical skills – ability to model financial projections as it relates to product lines
      • Self-starter with ability to work independently
      • Strong presentation skills in a one on one or group setting
    • Travel 20% to 30% - some international travel may be required
      • Ability to work well within a team environment and successfully build relationships at all levels of the organization.
      • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision or guidance.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • BS / BA Degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Product Management and or Marketing related roles
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Trade show experience preferred
  • Personal passion for fitness, fitness industry experience is a plus
  • Local candidate preferred but Remote work is possible
