Candidates who are best suited for this position must have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with exceptional time management and organizational skills to facilitate the warehouse, receiving, and manufacturing demands by interfacing with various departments and personnel.
Essential Duties
• Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
• Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
• Receiving and signing for deliveries.
• Unloading deliveries from trucks.
• Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
• Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
• Updating inventory with received items.
• Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
• Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
• Assist shipping and warehouse department as needed
• Support and follow safety guidelines
Experience And Skills Needed To Be Successful
• Warehouse, shipping, and receiving knowledge and experience preferred
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
• Extreme attention to detail
• Forklift experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in inventory control beneficial
Schedule
What will my schedule look like? This is an hourly role generally working Monday-Friday on first shift (8am-4pm).
