Job Description
Core BTS seeks a System Administrator to manage and optimize computer software systems, storage systems, and computing environment to ensure high levels of availability and security for company applications.
* This is a Full-Time position with a Direct Hire option
* This position is hybrid with on-site and remote scheduling flexibility
The System Administrator responsibilities will include the following:
- Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading IT Systems to ensure optimal performance
- Participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and troubleshoot problem areas (in person [if on-site], by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, including providing end-user assistance where required
The Server Administrator’s primary focus will include the following:
- Servers
- Storage
- Enterprise applications
- Working directly with the Manager of Infrastructure
- Additionally; end-user, phone, and network device support may be required on an as-needed bases
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Working technical knowledge of network, server hardware, and Windows operating systems
- Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including Enterprise Backups, Anti-Virus Scanning, Server Hardware/Software, File Servers, Meditech.
- Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with data management.
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws including HIPAA, PCI, and HITECH.
- VMware
- Microsoft Server and Application Suite (including SQL Server and Exchange)
- Microsoft SharePoint (Preferred)
- Active Directory Group Policy
- PowerShell
- Storage Area Networks
- Backup Software
- Knowledge of healthcare environment (Preferred)
- Vendor Management, Documentation
- Cisco experience a plus

Qualifications
A combination of education and experience including a degree in the field of computer science or information systems or key certifications encompassing 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years of experience working in an enterprise environment
- Microsoft Certifications (Preferred)
- Cisco Certifications (Preferred)
